Mandy Hall-Sanchez, Ph.D.

Visiting Assistant Professor - Sociology


Dr. Hall-Sanchez received a B.A. in sociology and psychology from Muskingum University, an M.A. in sociology with a specialization in criminology from Ohio University, and a Ph.D. in sociology with a specialization in criminology and women’s studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Her teaching and research interests include violence against women, feminist and critical criminologies, rural masculinities/femininities, and sociological and criminological theory. Her dissertation and current research focuses on the rational and active decision-making processes of women navigating intimate violent relationships in rural locations.
