Victoria Velding, Ph.D.
Dr. Velding received a Ph.D. in sociology from Wayne State University with a specialization in social inequalities and an emphasis in gender inequality. Her research and teaching interests include inequality and stratification, intersectionality, femininity/masculinity, race/ethnicity, sexuality, and youth. Her current research focuses on the implementation of qualitative research techniques with children and the construction and performance of sexuality in pre-adolescents.
