Curriculum Vitae
Dr. AviElle Raymore received a B.A. in Anthropology from Brown University. She also received an M.A. in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Ph.D. in Social Gerontology from Miami University. Her research interests include rural aging, intergenerational programming, and families and aging with a particular focus on grandparents raising grandchildren and kinship caregiving. Her dissertation focused on the roles that grandfathers play within grandparent-grandchild(ren) households.
