Annette is a fourth year PhD student in sociology. She received her MA in social and public policy from Duquesne University in 2015 and her BA in sociology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Her thesis focused on housing-related migration in the Marcellus Shale region of Pennsylvania. In the SOCA department, Annette serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant as an instructor, as well as assisting with undergraduate advising. Her current research interests include the social implications of public policy with an emphasis on community disruption in fracking-impacted areas in Pennsylvania.
