Rayna Momen


Rayna Momen is a second year PhD student in sociology, with an emphasis in crime and a W.E.B. Du Bois Fellow. Momen earned an M.A. in sociology from WVU, and has served as a lecturer and online instructor of undergraduate sociology courses for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Momen's doctoral research examines transphobia, anti-transgender violence and incarceration from an intersectional perspective.
