Graduate Student Orientation

Department Orientation:

Departmental Orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 18 at 9:00 AM in room 209 Knapp Hall. As part of orientation, a welcome lunch will be held at NOON in room 200 Knapp. (Location and lunch dependent on pandemic situation.) 

University Graduate Teaching Assistant Orientation:

All new Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) must complete the University Graduate Teaching Assistant Orientation.

1) The Teaching and Learning Commons will hold their orientation Friday August 14th from 8:00-1:00. Updates will be available here.   

2) The Office of Graduate Education and Life will hold their orientation on Monday August 17th from 1:00-4:00, pending pandemic guidelines. Information is available here. 

3) The Global Affairs Office will hold orientation for international students on Thursday August 13th. Information is available here.
