Jordan Ziglar, M.A.
Jordan Ziglar is part of our Fall 2024 cohort in the Sociology PhD program here at West Virginia University. He was originally born in Charleston, South Carolina but was raised mainly in Eastern North Carolina. He holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Hispanic Studies from East Carolina University as well as an M.A. in Sociology from East Carolina University. His M.A. thesis was titled "Muslim Americans and Symbolic Boundaries: A Trend Study." Jordan's research interests include Urban Sociology, Criminology, Sociology of Religion, Race and Ethnicity, and Culture. His personal interests include language learning, Islamic Studies, Geopolitics, and Foreign Policy.
