Taylor Williamson

GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT

Taylor Williamson is from Buckhannon, WV. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Criminal Justice from Fairmont State University. Her Master's thesis examined Perceptions of police, with an emphasis on individuals who have been impacted by the criminal justice system. She previously worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Fairmont State University in the Criminal Justice Department. Taylor is currently a first-year doctoral student in Sociology at West Virginia University and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Sociology department. Her research interests include policing, re-entry, justice-impacted women, rural crime, and perceptions of the criminal justice system.
