Taylor Williamson

GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT

Taylor Williamson is from Buckhannon, WV. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Criminal Justice from Fairmont State University. Her Master's thesis focused on public perceptions of law enforcement, with an emphasis on the experiences of individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. Prior to her current role here at WVU, she served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant within the Criminal Justice Department at Fairmont State University. Taylor is currently a second-year Doctoral student in Sociology and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Her research interests includes policing & policing reform, collective efficacy, rural crime, and perceptions of the criminal justice system.
