Rachelle Channell is a doctoral student in Sociology at West Virginia University who is combining more than 30 years of professional experience with applied academic research. Her professional background spans organizational behavior, national security, enterprise behavioral systems, and human resources. Her academic research includes expanding her professional experience through the study of espionage, corporate espionage, trade secret theft, and organizational realignment through social geometry, including the ways human systems can be structured to support risk stability, organizational integrity, intellectual property protection, and national security.

She currently works with clients on organizational stabilization through human systems design, workforce risk governance, and insider threat prevention and identification protocols in cleared industry and commercial organizations. Her broader research interests include extraction industries, corporate power and corruption, abuse of eminent domain under the guise of necessity, and the effects of these forces on marginalized communities. In addition, she is interested in medical conditions and disparities, as well as sociological considerations of trauma and dysfunctional systems. She is particularly interested in stigmatization, personality dynamics, and elements of the Dark Triad, including how these factors may shape experiences within high-trust environments such as national security organizations.

Rachelle holds a Master of Public Health, an MA in Sociology, and a BS in Psychology. Her professional background includes 19 years as a military and defense contractor, her ongoing eight-year role as Managing Principal of a boutique consulting firm, and a prior five-year role as Vice President of a cleared contracting firm, as well as experience serving as an Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and FSO. She also has 30 years of human resources experience, advanced and global professional certifications, and holds appropriate clearances. Rachelle also enjoys studying Spanish and Russian languages.
