Alade Opeyeoluwa Daniel earned a B.Sc. in Sociology from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and is currently a first-year doctoral student in Sociology at West Virginia University. His research interests focus on the intersection of crime, technology, and social media, with a particular emphasis on understanding how social media influences the rise of cybercrime. Daniel is committed to applying data analysis and criminological theories to develop innovative strategies for combating online criminal activities and exploring the broader implications of technology for law enforcement and public safety. He is currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Sociology department at West Virginia University.
