Bernard is a fourth-year Ph.D. student. He received his B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Computer Science from Duquesne University in 2018 and his M.A. in Sociology from West Virginia University in 2020. He currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. His broad interests include, but are not limited to, the sociology of religion, criminology and deviance, the sociology of mental health, sociological theory, group dynamics, and rural criminology.
