Barbara Reiprich

Barbara is the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.  Duties include budget and financial management of state, research and WVU Foundation funds; human resources and payroll representative; inventory management, asset and space management; and office manager.

Originally from Fairchance, PA, Barbara has been a resident of Morgantown, WV since 1993. Before joining WVU, she was a legal secretary with the law firms Krekstein, Ruben and Lasday (Harrisburg, PA) and Coldren and Adams (Uniontown, PA). In addition she worked with the Small Business Administration, a Federal agency in Pittsburgh, PA. 

Barbara is a RBA graduate of West Virginia University with a focus in history and a graduate of the Sawyer School of Business (Pittsburgh, PA). Barbara was selected as Eberly College Outstanding Staff in 2012 and 2023.  She is a member of the WVU Community Choir.  In addition to her interest in music, Barbara enjoys hiking, reading, crocheting and other craft work.
