Scott Kevin Turner
Scott is a Ph.D. Candidate whose focus is the sociology of law. He earned his Juris Doctor at New York Law School, Master of Arts in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University, and BA at Thomas Edison State College. His research draws upon his professional experiences as a New Jersey State Police trooper, Assistant Professor at Southern University New Orleans and West Virginia University Parkersburg, and current role as an Assistant Public Defender in rural New York State. Scott’s dissertation work examines the sociology of bail reform and its impact in rurality.
